Aradel Holdings Plc successfully held its 8th Annual Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Week from July 8th to 11th, 2025. The event featured a series of interactive sessions and practical demonstrations focused on key safety practices, including CPR techniques, fire awareness, and emergency responses. These sessions were facilitated by both internal and external experts.

A major highlight of the week was the reinforcement of Aradel’s “Stop Work” Mandate, which empowers all employees and contractors to immediately halt any activity they perceive as unsafe. In line with this, the Aradel Safety Pledge and Golden Safety Rules were cascaded to all staff.

Special emphasis was placed on enhancing safety consciousness among contractors as part of the HSE Week Programme. Aradel reiterated its HSE policies to ensure alignment and thorough implementation across all operations. The Whistleblowing Policy and Stop Work Policy were reinforced, and ‘Speak Out’ boxes were introduced across all office locations to encourage staff and contractors to report safety or other concerns, underscoring the principle: See something, say something.

Aradel’s safety culture is built on proactive leadership, continuous learning, accountability, and a shared responsibility for creating a safe and healthy work environment for all. HSE remains a core pillar of the company’s operations and strategic objectives, with a commitment to protecting people, the environment, and physical assets, and the Company embeds process safety principles across all business units to ensure operational integrity. Aradel has attained nearly 20 years of continuous production while maintaining an excellent HSE Record. Recognising that its employees are its most valuable asset, Aradel continues to partner with accredited health consultants to deliver regular health awareness programs.

In his address to staff during HSE Week 2025, CEO/MD Adegbite Falade said: “Aradel is deeply committed to sustainable development and creating a workplace where safety is a top priority. In our business, the first measure of success is that we are safe, any achievement that compromises this is meaningless. This HSE Week is a renewed opportunity for us to commit to safe practices, watch out for one another, and uphold the Aradel Golden Safety Rules.”
