Job Description:
This position has the following responsibilities. Ensure smooth running of business operations by offering first-level SAP support to end users. The SAP Finance Analyst has the overall responsibility of configuring, designing, and implementing Finance processes in any of the logistics modules. The position requires a clear understanding of the Finance environment as well as a strong understanding of SAP core technologies and the ability to work with others.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Promote the use of SAP and other Business Systems deployed in user departments.
- Liaise with Heads of department in the design, implementation, and enforcement of internal controls using SAP and other business systems.
- Liaise extensively with heads of departments and “super users” to understand their SAP requirements and provide solutions to those business needs.
- Develop, Test, and deploy solutions using SAP and other systems to meet business needs as required.
- Configure SAP reports to ensure that they meet business needs.
- Provide support to all users, listening to concerns and identifying issues, finding, and implementing solutions.
- Oversee and manage Projects around the modification, enhancement, or implementation of the new functionality of SAP and other related products including data migration.
- Support users on change control and management.
- Provide training and user manuals to users of business systems.
- Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports to management to aid decision-making on SAP and related Systems.
- Based on approval, proactively implement new features, introduce new systems, and modify existing business processes to improve efficiency and enforce internal controls.
- Perform the necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues, solution requirements, and related benefits.
- Aid in preparing and analyzing project plans and documentation.
- Work directly with clients to gather an understanding of their business needs and assist in the configuration and implementation of the software system.
- Design, build, and develop SAP Enterprise Management and related SAP system solutions to support all functions of supply chain process execution.
- Undertake such other duties as may be assigned by the Digital Transformation Manager from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Accounting, or any other relevant discipline.
- SAP training/certification in SAP Finance (FI, CO, PS) is an advantage Candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant functional and/or technical hands-on experience and exposure in designing, building, and integrating SAP Logistics module (SD/MM/PP/QM/PM)
